Meet Mark Douglas
Howdy, Mark Douglas. My journey started in 1978 on Galveston Island at Ball High School. I, along with some fellow Radio/Television Production students, DJ'd a Student Council party using three home stereo systems. That's three record players, two 8-track players and one cassette player. Somehow, we made it work and I was hooked! Over 44 years, I have been a DJ in varying capacities. Mobile services, night clubs, and radio. I also managed to pull off a stint as an announcer at Sea-Arama Marineworld & Astroworld and complete a successful career as an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve (retired Lieutenant Colonel). I work for Cox Media Group Houston (93Q, The Eagle and Country Legends) as production assistant and air talent. My specialty is music from the 50's through the 2000’s. I look forward to helping you create a truly memorable event.
